Our Team

Dr. Samra is a graduate of 2012 batch from College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry GADVASU India. She has been practising at various practices in Edmonton area as a small animal and emergency veterinarian since 2014.

Along with her team, Dr. Samra is very excited to be a part of the Heritage Valley Animal Hospital to help the pets be at their best health. Outside of work her hobbies are gardening, singing and hiking.

Rhonda graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at NAIT in 1992. Rhonda has always had a passion for the well-being of animals and she will never miss a chance to help an animal in need. In her spare time she stays very busy being a hockey mom to her son, a cheer mom to her daughter and a mom to her cat Lexi. Rhonda also enjoys hanging out with her family and friends and loves to travel.

Leeann has been working in the veterinary field for 40 years. She graduated from the Animal health technology program at Olds College in 1986. She is still very passionate about practicing veterinary medicine and has extensive training in ultrasonography. She looks forward to meeting you and to care for your fur babies. Outside of work she loves being a grandma to her grand daughters.

Meaghan graduated the NAIT Animal Health Technologist Program in 2008 and loves working with companion animals. Meaghan has a special interest in patient care and anesthesia which makes her a valuable asset to the hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her family.

Rachel is a student in Veterinary Techninolgy program at NAIT. She has a strong passion in diagnostic imaging and pet care. While Rachel is busy with school and work, she also have 5 furry friends to take care of. In her spare time, she loves to explore different type of food, play badminton and hangout with her furry friends.

I’m Atarhe Eguegu, and I’m passionate about animals and their well-being. My love for animals has been a driving force in my life, and it inspired me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Working at Heritage Valley Hospital allows me to combine my compassion for animals with my professional skills to provide the best care possible. I am dedicated to helping pets live healthier and happier lives, and I find great fulfillment in being part of a team that shares this mission. Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, playing soccer and I am a big fan of video games which continually support my mind when I’m not working.

Rav is in her first year veterinary technician program and is a key member of our staff who you will see at our reception desk. Rav always strives to give every client the best service and is enthusiastic about animal care.

Taylor is in her fourth year in agricultural studies majoring in animal sciences at the University of alberta. She spends her time with all of her animals (2 dogs and 2 cats), reading in her spare time and camping. Taylor grew up in Northern alberta, moving to edmonton for school. Although she loves all small and furry companions of the world, she has a special interest in the large animals of the farming industry.
